The menu at T&K Seafood is large. If it lives in the ocean, it's probably on the menu here. Notable highlights include the mild but flavourful crab meat curry, the sizzling oyster omelette and fairly good rendition of goong ob woonsen, glass noodles baked with soy sauce and river prawns.
For simplicity, it's always worth opting for several plates of the barbecued seafood, whether it's the prawns, squid or blood clams all of which are tied together by Thai seafood sauce - a riotous blend of hot chillies, Thai basil, palm sugar, lime juice and fish sauce.
If fresh oysters are your thing, this isn't a bad place to try them Thai-style with sweet chilli jam, deep-fried shallots and herbs. And a bowl of the perfectly balanced tom yum goong soup is best served between a group.
Accompanying sides, like stir-fried morning glory and fried rice, are perfectly serviceable but are clearly overshadowed by the seafood and not worth the journey alone.
